I chose two careers that had to do wiith computers. The first one was Computer Hardware Engineer and Computer Software Engineer. Even though they sound alike they are different. Computer Hardware Engineers research, design, develop, test, and oversee the installation of computer hardware. Computer hardware includes computer chips, circuit boards, systems, modems, keyboards, and printers. Computer Software Engineers first analyze users' needs. Then they design, construct, test, and maintain the needed software or systems. In programming, or coding, they tell a computer, line by line, how to function.

I really learned alot about this career called Electronics Engineering Technicians. Its very similar to many other engineering careers. In these occupations usually need one or two years of training involving both on-the-job experience and informal training with experienced workers. These occupations can include working with data and details more than with ideas. Usually there is a clear line of authority to follow.

Lesson 6

My reaction from the articles that I read is that from the fisrt article it talked about the iPhone and as I read that section I realized that now days technology has really been improving. Also i noticed that many technology manufacturers are creating new electronics and products to make our lives easier. I also read an articled that discussed the issue with ending world hunger. It was kind of sad to know that we can provide for the hungy but were just being selfish and only thinkin about ourselves. Theres plenty of food and resources in our world to provide for those that really need it.

Careers with Video Clips

Advertising Manager- Are often employed by Ad agencies. They supervise the people who write and design ads, buy commercial time on tv, or deal with clients

Agricultultural Supervisor- They carry on a tradition as old as civilization itself. Specialize in developing sources for food and shelter

Aircraft Mechanic- Their job is to keep airplane and helicopter in peak operating condition. They must be in the lookout for faulty instruments, metal fatigue, and other conditions that may cause problems in the future

World's Tallest Buildings- The Empire State Building was constructed in New York City in 1931 with the height of 1,250 ft with 102 floors. Burj Dubai is the tallest building in the world located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with 3,084 ft with 152 floors

Carbon Nanotubes- Nanotubes are good conductors of heat, they are very flexible and can also conduct electricity

The Large Hadron Collider- Toroidal Pistons moving in pure rotation in cooperation pairs inside conjugate hallow Toridal Shell with equally distributed units, each being called Stathmos define specified volumes variable and also moving
